I am surprised that a city such as this does not have a city-wide recycling program. The city promotes itself as sophisticated and contemporary. How is it that recycling is not considered part of the city's contribution to the overall quality of life to our planet and its neighborhoods? I am new to Chicago and have lived in six different states. Are there recycling centers where I can take my recycling like in so many other cities? what's with Chicago?
