The World's Fair of The White City has had a lot of exposure, but what about the 1933 World's Fair - Was it a 'success', and are there any buildings, monuments, statues, etc. remaining? Exactly where was it - I seem to remember hearing that it was on the lakefront - was it? I know that the Houses (of tomorrow?) were moved across the lake, and I saw them by accident - Is there still a Chicago connection with them? Do they relate to our wonderful architectural history? Seems like an interesting, little talked about event.
