Just south of the Chicago Brown Line El stop, west side of the tracks, on the side of a building there is a black sign with white letters that lists a bunch of names (I only see it from the train and I don't know the cross streets). Why are those names listed on the sign? What order are they in? Who created the list and when? At first I assumed they were all famous Chicagoians, but then my sister pointed out that Jesus Christ was NOT from Chicago.\ \ Most importantly, why is one name blacked out? What did the person who was removed do to warrant such punishment?!?!?
