Is the sales tax for food bought at a fast food restaurant different within the city?\ I have to admit, I'm a pretty regular Subway sandwich buyer. During the Feb. special where they sold 'footlong' sandwiches for $5. A footlong turkey bought at North and Sedgwick had $0.53 tax, and the same sandwich at Broadway and Berwyn had $0.48 tax.
