Since the Petroleum Industry is responsible for the disinformation campaign that has stopped action on climate change (Sununu - '89), then let the Petroleum Industry FIX IT !! Stop the Extraction Industry, keep it in the ground. Convert or replace EVERY CAR = to ELECTRIC, so commerce can continue. Install Solar/wind on every dwelling, to charge the car, and run everything. This would be a good start, and COULD HAPPEN -- we have the technology, and it would employ MANY people !!
