Hi, my name is Wanting Huang, and I work for Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago. Our office is the Consulate office of Taiwan represents Taiwanese citizens in the Midwest. We are reaching out to you because we would like to explore opportunities of being interviewed by your show to discuss current issues happening between the US and China, and Taiwan and China. The current Trump administration has made some changes on the trade with China, and our office can provide different perspectives on that. Taiwan also is one of the most important trade partners with the US, and the latest Presidential election in Taiwan may have some impact on that as well. The Presidential election in Taiwan was by far the most important one because of the protest that had been going on in Hong Kong for the past several months. There are so many great topics that we could share with your audiences and we would love to be on WBEZ. Please contact me and let me know if this is possible to pursue. Thank you for your time.
